Each 30 mL vial contains sterile bacteriostatic water. Please note: due to supply shortages, orders may be fulfilled with Hospira-branded bacteriostatic water. Hospira is owned by Pfizer; the product is identical and branded differently in the U.S. and Canada. Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with a small amount of preservative, used to dissolve (reconstitute) lyophilized research compounds. The preservative allows the same vial to be used multiple times. Use only with compounds for which bacteriostatic water is an appropriate diluent.
